Lydia's getting better

After the hair-raising experience described in that last post, I figure I'd better report on progress. Lydia is improving gradually and during the day she is more or less back to her usual self: playful, eager, loving, and at times mischievous.

She is down to only one medication, plus the thyroid supplementation she had been on before her pneumonia. But at night she is still on a ventilator. It drives us crazy with alarm messages that often are spurious but which, especially after last Tuesday, we can't ignore.
