Buona sera!
So it's a wonderful week here in Italy. I am just loving every minute of it! (I know, I say that every week. Sorry if these are just super monotonous, repetitive emails. But I really do love it...) It's been full of more tasty Sri Lankan fried things, a week full of
visiting with people, hearing the latest from the prophet and the 12 apostles, (here you can watch or download the music or discourses) and finally a bit of a cooled down climate to about a high of 70-75° every day. The life with Slla Smith is fantastic, and I'm constantly learning and growing with her.
An interesting development in our everyday work here is this 9 year old named Dalila (emphasis on the Da). She's already in a bit of a rough situation seeing as her dad isnt really in the picture, and that she spends most of her life at school or at home alone. But she is very alert and very happy to see us every once in a while. We have been trying to help her understand that even if she feels all alone she can rely on God and always pray to get answers. I think this is the fundamental thread of religion that unfortunately gets drowned in the commercialist plea to <
Anyway, I am glad for the constant opportunity to learn and grow, everything from learning about Atheism and how to deal with it (see Cook's talk), to the Bangladeshi selling us curry and a kebab today, to the music from our beloved Inoka, etc...It's all fabulous! I as always have to run.
Love you all,
Sorella Black
